Holiday Give-away!

I'm participating in the Internet Cafe Devotions' Holiday Expo. Today, I'm hosting my first-ever give-away! Please click on the above link to check out other give-aways.

I'm offering these two wonderful inspirational books (click on the photos for more information on each title):

This books were given to our family by a dear friend, and were a blessing to read. They have been read once (and never colored in!), so they are like-new. These would make lovely gifts to a family who could use some inspiration, or a wonderful addition to your own library of inspirational literature.

If you want to win these lovely books, leave a comment with a story of a time you were blessed at Christmas. The winner will be selected by me, by Wednesday, December 10. I will notify the winner by email, so make sure you leave me your contact info. The books will be shipped immediately, on Friday, December 12, so they will get there before Christmas.

I will ship anywhere.

Sounds like a great giveaway!

Three years ago when I went up to BC for Christmas one of my best friends passed away just a couple days before we were supposed to get together. It was a blessing in a way that I was more focused on the saviour that Christmas than anyother Christmas.

When we first moved here, we were trying to find a way to go "home" for Christmas, but the money just wasn't there. Someone anonymous put an envelope full of cash into our P.O. box. Just enough to go home...

Hey, I don't want the books, but I wanted to say how cool it is that you are giving them away.

I am blessed daily, but one especially blessed Christmas was after my triplet daughters were born in November of 2002. Two of them were still in the hospital and we spent Christmas Day with all three of our girls, even if it was at the hospital.

13 years ago, I celebrated my first Christmas without my dad....but I was truly blessed because my 'incomplete' family was 'substituted' with a bigger family ~ members of the church....

A few years ago we were having a lot of trouble paying our bills. Then getting gifts for our Children was going to be impossible. But much to our surprise our Church surprised us with a wonderful gift of money. What a blessing it was!!

I don't have any specific Christmas blessing but I am SO blessed every year, just to be able to be together with my family and to know that I am where God wants me to be!

(I am currently living in Indonesia but am a US resident and have a US mailing address.)

Christmas itself is a beautiful blessing, but I remember how special my first Christmas as a believer was. Everything just took on a new meaning.
